CUISINE OF AL-KURAH - COOK BOOK

What do you do when a cook book dedicated to the traditional dishes of the Al-Kurah region in the North of Lebanon comes along? You get curious. And curious did we get! We had to learn all about the history and the traditions of the meals and their relationship to local customs. Hence we decided to give this book a very homey warm feeling by sharing this in a section that was added to the book thanks to the extensive knowledge and research from the team at Al Balamand University. In this section you learn about old cooking utensils and methods of preparing the Al-Mouneh (winter reserve) and ways of making traditional soap, for instance. It helped ad depth to an already rich book. We used these images in our layout in the section separators and as chapter endings.
